  1. I’m confused on how to use the elastic cable that is supposed to attach to the mosquito net. It would be great if you could send me some type of instruction to properly set up the hammock.

    • The actual amount of cable needed will vary based on the size of the person going in the hammock. The cable is only enough to thread through one set of hoops and attach to the tree straps on either side. Be careful to take into account how much the hammock with sink when the person gets inside. If the net is not secured properly it could tear. If you will be putting it up and taking it down often and would prefer both sets of loops to be used I would recommend investing in some 550 cord. It is great and can be used for different scenarios.

  2. I took my hammock and a tarp motorcycle camping with old friend to Eureka Springs, Ark. He took a Coleman lantern that lights up the campsite, a quality tent, an air mattress, and a high dollar sleeping bag and a hammock. The lightening scared him in the hammock, so he slept in the tent. Big rain storm (July 14, 2016). His lantern would not light. His tent leaked, air mattress went flat, mummy bag got wet. So he slept in the wash room at the KOA most of the nite. In the morning, he threw his tent in the dumpster. I stayed warm and dry, a few drips ran down the support ropes and under my foam bed mat. My tarp was 8 by 10 and worked great. I am ready to go again!
    Thanks for a great product!
